PAL is an android created by Anne. She is shown to be quite athletic. Anne created her to be her best friend. When PAL came into her life, she was excited she had a new friend. PAL refers to the feminine name Pal from Victoria Ramos's novel Forever My Girl. The story centers on a eleven-year-old boy named Eli Tannenbaum who meets a young eleven-year-old girl named Pal. Pal has a strong relationship with her creator Anne, but sometimes she can be a little snippy sometimes. Her gender in the show was detected by Anne when she looked up PAL's gender on her tablet. The words "FEMALE" with the female symbol on it finally popped up. PAL is a six-year-old girl robot who is best friends with her creator, Anne.
